Resources to Dig Deeper, Explore, or Just for Fun!
A Note From the Author
Hello Readers,
I have always had a lifelong love for learning. I love to share stories that provide enjoyment and help, especially for children. When a story provides a doorway for the reader to step through and explore oneself, one's environment, or one's community, it resonates deeply. The reader realizes they can effect change and improve some area of their life. Empowerment and courage are tools to step forward into a future you can only imagine at first.
Teaching will forever be an integral part of who I am. We prepare for teaching by learning. From classroom lessons to real-life lessons, we build our resource library within ourselves. We can learn from experiences, people we meet, and books we read. When I read something, I first reflect, "Does this resonate with me?" Does it bring me joy, help for the place or situation I am in, or does it not apply. If it does not apply, I lovingly leave it for someone else that it would better serve. If it does resonate, I look deeper for a lesson, something to learn more about, discover, or explore. Then I consider how I can apply this information in my own life.
It is my highest hope that my books help the reader in some way, even if it's just for a relaxing time to take a break and read an uplifting story. My teacher self looks for ways to dig deeper into a subject or explore in some way using my story as a starting point. This is why I have created free resources for each book I publish. They are available here; hover over the page title and click the book you want to find resources for. There are a variety of activities to choose from. Enjoy!
