About Me
As a former teacher, I shared my love of reading, writing, and learning with my students. I even converted many students to appreciate - if not love - poetry! I love sharing my stories to entertain and help others.
We have moved back and forth across the country and now live in Wyoming. We have two dogs, a cat, and chickens.
I have always had a garden of some type and size, and we are beginning to set up a small one here. I enjoy spending time in my yard, especially in the garden, and with my animal friends. I enjoy reading and writing and have more stories to share!

A huge Thank you to the teachers and students at North Idaho STEM Charter Academy for welcoming me into their classrooms! It was so much fun to read The Nightmare to you all and answer your questions. I visited 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade classes and talked about various topics with each level. For 1st and 2nd, we talked about Maggie's problem and her mistake of not asking for help. In 4th grade, we talked about the economics of being a writer and how the process works. In 5th grade, we talked about what the witch represented and about the writing process. And in 6th grade, we talked about different types of publishing as well as the road to becoming an author.
THANK YOU for having me in your classrooms and all the positive feedback for The Nightmare!

Thank you, Librarians, for all you do to keep our kids interested in reading and providing excellent programs!
Libraries are treasures of discovery and learning. Check out your local library
and check out a book (or two or three)!
Contact me with any questions or comments. I look forward to hearing from you.
